Description:
Are you a League member that knows how to manage Zoom - sharing links (all links will be given to you, just need to navigate them - i.e. VOTE411.org - bring up VOTE411.org on a shared screen, putting in the voters address in VOTE411.org, comparing all of the candidates on the voters ballots on the shared screen; bringing up LWVColorado's website and showing the League's stance on ballot issues; go through the judges together and the information out there on judges. If you can "share screen" in zoom, open websites, etc, you are perfect for this volunteer opportunity. You will be put in a breakout room where you will be one-on-one with a 1st time voter that needs assistance.
This is an event for 1st Time Voters to get one-on-one assistance in a private setting. No judgement. No embarrassing comments. No telling you how to vote, unless you ask us about League stances on issues :)) This is something we can briefly chat about. But 95% of what we want to assist you with is Everything Else! League members will walk you through your ballot, showing you resources from candidate answers to survey questions, judge evaluations and research, and ballot issues resources (who sponsors what initiative, etc) to help you make your own decisions and vote for your choices.
It's not too late!!! Zoom on in and let League volunteers help you with this long a$$ ballot!
